Des joined Natalie on the couch, setting her between him and Will. She rested her head against Des and he stroked her hair.
She realized that she was still the only one who was naked. Both men, now that Will had re-zipped his pants, were fully dressed. She felt Will take her hand, and gave a little sigh of contentment. This was exactly where she wanted to be.
Alice has been aboard the Tau Ceti station for a week. She’d started to acclimate to the intermittent gravity loss, but it still caused butterflies in her stomach when the gravity turned off.
She was looking forward to her down time. The engineering team invited her to all sorts of activities, but she just wanted to be alone. Well there was a certain Martian she’d been eyeing, and she’d heard plenty of interesting things about Martian anatomy at the academy. She was planning a fact finding mission during her six month posting; however, after a week of constant companionship, she was looking forward to having her quarters to herself. Her roommate, a Terran in communications, was on shift, so Alice would be alone.
It had been a couple of weeks since our last encounter. Tonight, she was coming over to my place.
I’d set out what felt like a million candles in the bedroom. I wondered if it was cheesy, predictable to want the soft, flickering candlelight. But I decided that I didn’t care. I liked it, and the candle light made me feel sexy.

She heard stone scraping against stone, followed by something light and wispy brush against her arm. She grinned gritted hey teeth against a scream. She was still being mocked for screaming at a scorpion in her first week, so she wasn’t going to add spiders to the list.
