Jill checked her lipstick and gave her red hair a quick pat before stepping in front of the camera.
“Tonight, the team and I will be staying in what has been called the most haunted house in America” she continued the spiel about the place, ending by feigning a look of fear. “The team and I will be seeing what happens when we stay the night.”
Des kissed Will again, and Natalie wriggled between them. She hadn’t known she could be more turned on, but watching them she was. All the teasing, the two of them touching her has Natalie ready to explode.
She could guarantee there was a wet spot on Des’s couch. Now he was going to punish her. Des rose from the couch, “What did you do wrong, kitten?” he asked.
I am not a fan of cold weather, even the mild winters I suffer where the temperatures rarely fall below mid-40s. But there are a few things about winter that I enjoy. I love snuggling up on the couch, reveling in the feeling of warm fleecy blanket, one of those soft, faux fur types. I wrap the blanket around my bare legs because, even though it’s winter, I still insist on being half naked at home. The blanket tickles my legs deliciously.
Vicki saw the “email” icon on her phone. She knew that the message was from her best friend Julia. Both of them were traveling, for different reasons, but both women continued their tradition of sending the other “postcards” – self-made, often self-taken photos, of their travels.
She was waiting in a New York airport for her connecting flight. Her traveling companion Dr. Colin Bishara was asleep, resting his head on her shoulder. She opened the email.
Stephanie fumbled her keys into the lock, and tripping in the dark she made her way into her apartment. She was still a little tipsy from her night out. I had the house to myself, and I was getting ready for bed. I stayed in shower letting the cool water pull the heat from my skin. I’d been sleeping nude, so I dried off but didn’t bother with clothes. I tied my hair up in a messy knot, wanting its damp weight off my back.
As I was locking up, the breeze flowing through the screen door was irresistible. The yard was dark, and I could see the mist rolling in. There wasn’t even much of a moon.
Alice has been aboard the Tau Ceti station for a week. She’d started to acclimate to the intermittent gravity loss, but it still caused butterflies in her stomach when the gravity turned off.
She was looking forward to her down time. The engineering team invited her to all sorts of activities, but she just wanted to be alone. Well there was a certain Martian she’d been eyeing, and she’d heard plenty of interesting things about Martian anatomy at the academy. She was planning a fact finding mission during her six month posting; however, after a week of constant companionship, she was looking forward to having her quarters to herself. Her roommate, a Terran in communications, was on shift, so Alice would be alone.
